Perhehuone One of our family room types, our classic double with sofa bed is spacious and thoughtfully designed. It is perfect for families of 4 (before additional cots are added). Of the two rooms of this type, it is only possible to book the family room that overlooks the front lawn via booking.com - if your preference is for the family room located within the battlements of the castle (with a limited view), then please do let us know, and we'll do our very best to accommodate this. Rowton Suite This magnificent Georgian Gothic room is the most imposing bedroom our hotel has to offer, and is usually given to our honeymooning couples. Overlooking the front lawns, it has a majestic four poster bed and a Jacobean fireplace. Please Note: This is a 1st Floor Room with NO lift access.

Alberbury Suite Light and elegant, the Alberbury Suite has a four poster bed and a seating area nestled into the bay window. From the tall sash windows there are views of the garden and lime tree avenue. Please Note: This is a 1st Floor Room with NO lift access.

Leighton Suite Grand and somewhat traditional, the Leighton Suite has an imposing four poster bed, cosy seating area and gravitas aplenty. Cedar Room A spacious room, the Cedar has a simple Arts and Crafts four poster bed and an atmosphere of calm. The view overlooks the front lawns and the ancient cedar tree for which the room is named. Please Note: This is a 1st Floor Room with NO lift access.

Oak Room This charming double room is located is one of the castle turrets, which makes it an interesting shape. It's a favourite with our guests who love the heavy oak carved four poster bed. Please Note: This is a 1st Floor Room with NO lift access.

Yockleton Room In this traditional space, the great oak carved four poster bed stands in its own alcove. It's warm and comfortable with soft furnishings and low lighting. It overlooks the surrounding Shropshire countryside. Please Note: This is a 1st Floor Room with NO lift access.

Melverley Room The Melverley is the smallest of our superior doubles; from the cushioned window seat you've views of the gardens, the turret wall and the Linden Belvedere. Please Note: This is a 1st Floor Room with NO lift access.

Avenue-huone The Avenue Room is a pretty twin bedroom with an unusual collection of furniture from the nineteen thirties. As its' name suggestions, the lime tree avenue is visible from the sash window. Please Note: This is a 1st Floor Room with NO lift access.

Baldwin Room A spacious room, the Baldwin is made elegant by its' superb antique French bed which is skilfully carved with roses, and which dictates the simple Francophile theme of decorating. The Baldwin room enjoys a garden view. Please Note: This is a 1st Floor Room with NO lift access.
